Product Details

Create the menu, then open the restaurant! This three-piece set is designed for both independent creativity and shared role-play.

Kids begin by using the blank menu notepad and coordinating food-and-drink stickers to create their own restaurant menu. With more choices than available menu spaces, they can design a different menu every time. Once the restaurant is ready, they can present the finished menu to a parent, sibling, friend, doll, or stuffed animal and use the separate order notepad to check off the customer’s drinks, main dishes, sides, and desserts before adding the printed prices together.

Includes:

  • 1 double-sided customer-order notepad with food, drink, dine-in, delivery, and total-cost choices
  • 1 double-sided blank menu notepad
  • 1 peel-and-play sticker notepad with drinks, main dishes, sides, and desserts
  • 40 double-sided sheets and 80 playable pages in each paper notepad
  • 20 coordinating sticker sheets

Screen-free and ready to play—no downloading, printing, cutting, or setup required.

Independent & Shared Pretend Play

Create the menu, open the restaurant, and welcome the first customer. This 3-Piece Restaurant Pretend & Play Set gives children two connected ways to play: they can independently design a restaurant menu, then use the customer-order notepad for shared role-play.

Children begin with the blank menu pad and coordinating food-and-drink stickers. The menu has space for three drinks, three main dishes, three sides, and three desserts—but the sticker notepad includes eight choices for every category. Children decide what their restaurant will serve and can create a new combination each time they play.

Once the menu is ready, the child can present it to a parent, sibling, friend, doll, or stuffed animal. They can take the customer’s order, choose dine-in or delivery, and add the printed item prices together to complete the total-cost box.

How the Play Experience Works

1. Build the Menu: Choose drinks, main dishes, sides, and desserts from the sticker notepad. Place selected items onto the blank menu to create a custom restaurant.

2. Open for Business: Give the finished menu to a customer and let them decide what they would like to order.

3. Take the Order: Check the customer’s selections on the separate order notepad, choose dine-in or delivery, and add the printed prices to calculate the pretend total.

What’s Included

  • 1 double-sided customer-order notepad with drinks, main dishes, sides, desserts, dine-in, delivery, and total cost
  • 1 double-sided blank menu notepad with spaces for four menu categories
  • 1 peel-and-play sticker notepad with 32 food-and-drink choices
  • 40 double-sided sheets and 80 playable pages in each paper notepad
  • 20 coordinating sticker sheets

Independent Play: Design the Restaurant Menu

The blank menu activity gives children control over what their restaurant serves. They can build a familiar family restaurant, create a dessert-heavy café, plan a silly menu, or select an entirely new combination of foods each day.

Because there are more sticker choices than spaces on the menu, children must decide which items make the cut. The finished menu becomes a creation they can present and use during the shared restaurant game.

Shared Play: Serve a Customer

When the restaurant opens, another person can become the customer—or a favorite doll or stuffed animal can place the order. The child can present the menu, listen to the customer’s selections, and check the matching items on the order notepad.

Each item has a printed price on the order form. After choosing dine-in or delivery, the child can add the selected prices and write the result in the total-cost box.

Four Menu Categories to Mix and Match

Drinks: Choose from water, lemonade, milk, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, iced tea, and soda.

Main Dishes: Build the meal around a hamburger, pizza, spaghetti, taco, sushi, chicken, hot dog, or corn dog.

Sides: Add broccoli, carrots, french fries, salad, applesauce, a fruit bowl, chips, or soup.

Desserts: Finish the order with a cookie, ice cream, an ice cream sandwich, cupcake, milkshake, macarons, cake, or pie.

Designed for Repeat Play

The two activity notepads each contain 40 double-sided sheets, providing 80 playable pages per pad. Different menu combinations, customers, orders, and totals make it easy to create a new restaurant experience every time.

Each notepad measures 5 × 8 inches and is printed on sturdy 100 lb paper. The compact format is easy to bring along for travel, restaurant visits, waiting rooms, and quiet-time play.
