Open the doctor’s office and welcome the first patient. This 3-Piece Doctor Office Pretend & Play Set gives children two connected ways to play: they can independently create their own Doctor’s Notes, then use the patient-visit notepad for shared role-play with a parent, sibling, friend, doll, or stuffed animal.

Children begin with the Doctor’s Notes activity pad and coordinating sticker notepad. They can add a reason for the visit, choose a temperature-status sticker, write in a height, and use green or red arrows to point to different areas on the body outline.

When it is time for an appointment, the child can welcome a pretend patient and use the separate check-off notepad to choose why the patient came in, what happened during the exam, and what treatment plan comes next. Every new patient creates another opportunity for storytelling, observation, decision-making, and imaginative play.

How the Play Experience Works

1. Create the Doctor’s Notes: Use the activity notepad to fill in the patient’s name, reason for the visit, temperature status, and height. Add green arrows to areas that are feeling good and red arrows to areas that may need some pretend care.

2. Welcome a Patient: Invite a parent, sibling, friend, doll, or stuffed animal to visit the doctor’s office. Ask how the patient is feeling and decide what kind of appointment they need.

3. Complete the Visit: Use the separate patient-visit notepad to check one or more choices under Reason for Visit, Today We Did, and Treatment Plan.

Independent Play: Create the Doctor’s Notes

The Doctor’s Notes activity gives children a creative way to build their own pretend patient story. They can choose why the patient came in, record observations, and point to different areas on the body outline with the coordinating arrow stickers.

There is no single correct way to complete the page. Children can create a quick checkup, invent a silly injury, help a stuffed animal feel better, or imagine an entirely new visit each time they play.

Shared Play: Welcome a Patient

Once the doctor is ready, another person can become the patient—or a favorite doll or stuffed animal can take the role. The child can ask questions, listen to the patient’s story, and decide which choices to check on the visit notepad.

The appointment can be simple or detailed. Children may select one option from each section or combine several choices to create a more involved pretend visit.

A Complete Pretend Doctor Visit

Reason for Visit: Choose from Check-Up, Injury, Feeling Sick, or Follow-Up.

Today We Did: Complete a pretend blood-pressure check, take the patient’s temperature, perform an ear or eye exam, check height, listen to the heart, clean a wound, or take an X-ray.

Treatment Plan: Finish the visit with pretend care such as a bandage, medicine, ice, a shot, a cast, sleep, cream, or fluids.

Designed for Repeat Play

The two activity notepads each contain 40 double-sided sheets, providing 80 playable pages per pad. With new patient details, different check-off combinations, and coordinating stickers, children can create a different appointment every time.

Each notepad measures 5 × 8 inches and is printed on sturdy 100 lb paper. The compact format is easy to bring along for travel, waiting rooms, restaurant visits, and quiet-time play.
